It was founded by the Kanahar Ski Club in 1928 and is known for its long, challenging course that starts from the Schilthorn and finishes in Lauterbrunnen, covering 14.9 km with a vertical drop of 2,170 meters. The event features a mix of steep sections and flatter parts requiring skating, a mass start, and a popular after-party.
